Every J.T. Barrett Throw From Ohio State’s Pro Day

J.T. Barrett Ohio State Pro Day Ohio State Football Buckeyes

Ohio State held its annual Pro Day on Thursday and former Buckeye quarterback J.T. Barrett — doesn’t it sound weird to read that? — was one of 17 now-former OSU players to take part. Barrett is currently projected to be selected in the late rounds or undrafted. So how did he perform on Thursday? Check it out for yourself in the video below which covers every throw that Barrett made on the day.

  1. He doesn’t throw until the receiver turns. NFL speed won’t let you do that.

  2. I’m pulling for him to do well. It would be great to have a Buckeye QB starring at thew next level.

I watched him throwing at the Elite 11 Camp when he was a mentor. He looked pretty much the same then. Decent to good arm strength in drills. That’s after he went to a camp to specifically try to improve his arm strength. It’s just drills and he did fairly well. Still has release timing to route timing issues though. That should be better with receiver familiarity.

We’ll see how it goes and I really do hope it clicks for him. I just suspect he’ll be back at Ohio State as a QB coach in a couple of years, and there’s not a thing in the world wrong with that.

    1. I believe you are exactly right about JT returning to OSU as a coach in the future, James Mills. And he will be a very good one!

      1. Yep, he’ll be a great coach and addition to the program……..again!
