Ohio State Football Freshmen Arrive In Columbus

Ohio State football tight end Jeremy Ruckert

The start of Ohio State football fall camp is still two months away, but the Buckeyes’ freshman class is already on campus.

Eight members of the 2018 recruiting class enrolled back in January, and on Saturday, the rest of the group arrived.

Session two of OSU’s Summer Term starts Monday, so the new players will have a chance to get an early start on their classwork.

Some of the players who are now on campus include 5-star defensive tackle Taron Vincent, 4-star running back Jaelin Gill, and 4-star tight end Jeremy Ruckert.

The class includes a total of three 5-star players, 19 players rated as 4-star recruits, and three 3-stars.

It ranked as the top class in the Big Ten and the No. 2 class nationally.

The official OSU football Twitter account posted pictures of the new arrivals.
