TCU finally forced Ohio State to face a bit of adversity. Trailing in the second half and without perhaps the nation’s best college football player after Nick Bosa’s injury, the Buckeyes rallied in all three phases of the game, scoring on Dre’mont Jones’ shovel pass pick six, blocking (partially, anyway) a punt, and hitting big pass plays to Parris Campbell and K.J. Hill.
Chip Minnich and I take a deep dive inside Ohio State’s 40-28 win over TCU on Saturday night at Jerry World. We say a lot of words about the good and bad aspects of the game and both of us are still Austin Mack backers.
We also discussed Urban Meyer breaking his silence upon his return and how Monday’s press conference was light years better than the one held back on the night his suspension was announced. Meyer took on some tough questions head-on and hopefully we can get back to talking about football.
Speaking of football, we’ve got a brief preview of this Saturday’s meeting with Tulane at the Shoe as well, including our score predictions. We are not thinking this will be a close game.

Favorite play by a defensive lineman – yeah the vacated sugar bowl play against arkansas was good, and dremont was really good, but how did you fail to mention the play that knocked the Alabama myth (Ohio State can’t beat the SEC) right to Hades – the pick six interception by Steve Miller (who should have tried to become an NFL tight end) was a perfect play call and perfect execution. Go Bucks!
Yes! Another favorite, for sure. They are like my children. I love them all and cannot pick a favorite.
