The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes met with the media for the final time before heading to State College, Pa. for their showdown with No. 9 Penn State.
Head coach Urban Meyer provided updates on injuries to several players.
Nick Bosa is obviously out, but backup offensive lineman Brady Taylor is going to miss another month or so after undergoing knee surgery.
On the plus side, Mike Weber will be back, and safety Amir Riep will be back this week after suffering a hamstring injury.
Meyer said that Demario McCall will be involved in this week’s game plan.
You can watch interviews with Meyer, defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones, punter Drue Chrisman, and wide receivers Parris Campbell and Terry McLaurin in their entirety below.
Listen to Terry McLaurin speak. He takes the questions and processes and responds fluidly and confidently. Probably better described as BOTH analytical and intuitive. Along with Dre’Mont, Nick, Johnnie from this team they’re in the short list of favorite Buckeyes. With Terry he’s got a high level public face/speaker future if he wants it. He’s intelligent and real. We all know where Nick will be. Bookending a Super Bowl win with his brother.. Johnnie can do a ton of things but he’s harder to pin down for the future. Dre’Mont will be in Hollywood.
I don’t think that Dre’Mont prediction is outrageous.
He’s got a great outgoing nature that makes it impossible not to like the guy. Same kind of charisma as Denzel Washington breaking into acting.
