In this episode of The Buckeye SloopCast, Jared and Kyle attempt to piece together exactly which problems have been fixed for the Buckeyes and which are still very much an issue. The defense certainly doesn’t appear to be ready for prime time, but be careful where you place that blame. The fellas then touch on a number of other subjects that Buckeye Nation is talking about today as well.

With all the comments about our defensive coaches, I was reminded of the first day of high school practice when the asst coach said, “this is your area-stay home-.” There was no one within 5 yards of McFarland when he turned the corner and went 80+ yards. Same thing on kick off coverage-you’ve got an area to cover. Still can’t believe McFarland’s run-football 101. Surely, we won’t have all these mental errors on Saturday.
