It wasn’t a historic, season-defining blowout win over a bitter rival, but the Buckeyes’ 27-26 comeback win over Penn State was pretty memorable, too.
Now, as the team prepares for the Rose Bowl, the OSU social media team is looking back at some of the games that got them there.
“Long Live The Brotherhood, Part 2” features the team’s trip to Happy Valley.
The Buckeyes struggled early and fell behind in front of a raucous White-Out crowd in Beaver Stadium.
It was 13-0 Penn State in the second quarter, and 26-14 with less than eight minutes to play in the game.
As OSU wide receiver Terry McLaurin says, “They think they’ve got us right where they want us.”
But thanks to two long touchdown drives, and a spectacular catch by Binjimen Victor, the Buckeyes pulled out a dramatic comeback win over the Lions for the second season in a row.
Now, you can get a unique inside look at the night, from the team’s arrival to their postgame locker room celebration.
You might want to watch it a couple times. Maybe running the ball on 4th-and-5 will work out for James Franklin eventually?
? Following 2017's epic home win against Penn State was a tall task, but the 2018 Buckeyes did just that, conquering the Nittany Lions' annual White Out with a 27-26 comeback victory in State College and affirming #TheBrotherhood.#GoBucks #WonTheMoment pic.twitter.com/DM1S8sELxJ
