In an effort to better service our readers we are making a significant upgrade to our servers and server software. We should complete our migration to the new server in the next day or two.
As part of that process we must redirect our I.P. address. There will be approximately a four-hour window in which some of you may not be able to reach the site as the new I.P. address propagates globally. If that should happen to you, rest assured that situation will rectify itself quickly and you will not have any further issues reaching the site.
We anticipate that the vast majority of you will have no issue getting here during the migration, but if you do experience a problem, just be patient and the problem will self-resolve.
Our enhancements are aimed at stabilizing site-service during high-demand situations such as National Signing Day, news of coaching changes, etc. It is our hope that from this point on the site will be available to all no matter how exceptional our traffic. Recently traffic spikes adversely affected our ability to serve pages, but that should now be resolved.
One further note — we all hate fund raisers and fund raising pleas, but the reality is that these upgrades are costly. If you have been thinking about donating towards our support, now would be a great time. You can find a donate button at the bottom of all pages on the main site as well as on the left column of our forum.
