COLUMBUS — Ohio state head coach Chris Holtmann announced via a press release Friday afternoon that OSU starting center and leading scorer Kaleb Wesson has been suspended following a violation of Ohio State Athletic Department policy.
No further information was given regarding the violation, other than stating that Wesson will return to the team this season.
Holtmann will meet with reporters Friday afternoon in an already scheduled availability to preview Saturday’s matchup at Purdue, and he will address the matter in some manner at that point as well.

Ohio State’s Kaleb Wesson Suspended
COLUMBUS—Kaleb Wesson, a sophomore center on the Ohio State men’s basketball team, has been suspended for a violation of Ohio State Athletics Department policy, Chris Holtmann, head coach of the Buckeyes, announced Friday. Wesson will return this season.
Wesson leads the Buckeyes in scoring (14.6 points per game) and rebounding (6.7 rpg.). The Buckeyes are 18-10 overall heading into the game against No. 14 Purdue Saturday.
