The Ohio State Buckeyes opened their 2019 spring football season on Wednesday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
It was the program’s first practice since the end of the 2019 Rose Bowl, and also the first one of the Ryan Day era at OSU.
The first hour was open to the media. You can get a quick rundown here of everything we saw, including updates on the first day of the quarterback battle, some injury updates, and a look at the revamped offensive line.
After practice, OSU head coach Ryan Day met with the media to discuss everything he saw, and what his goals are for the spring.
You can watch his full press conference below.
You can also hear from defensive end Jonathon Cooper and running back J.K. Dobbins on their perspectives on the start of the 2019 season.
The Buckeyes will return to the practice field on Friday, and then take a week off for spring break.
Spring football will conclude with the 2019 Ohio State Spring Game, which is set for Saturday, April 13.
