Ohio State’s 2019 spring football schedule will hit its halfway point this week.
It has been an eventful few weeks inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
The offense is watching a battle for the starting quarterback job play out, among other things. The defense is installing a new scheme, with an almost entirely new coaching staff.
Wednesday, wide receivers coach Brian Hartline, defensive backs coaches Jeff Hafley and Matt Barnes, and a handful of players met with the media to discuss all of it.
You’ll hear about techniques being taught to the defensive backs (SPOILER ALERT: they’re turning and looking for the ball!), the new Bullet position, injury and transfer news that has hit the depth of the wide receiver unit, and more.
There is also more news on the emergence of some young receivers, including Jaelen Gill and Garrett Wilson.
You can watch those interviews below.
