Isaiah Prince Selected By Miami Dolphins In Sixth Round of 2019 NFL Draft

Former Ohio State right tackle Isaiah Prince was selected in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins on Saturday.

He went 202nd overall.

Prince becomes the ninth Buckeye offensive lineman selected in the last nine drafts.

A three-year starter, Prince played in each of Ohio State’s 54 games the last four years.

He began his career as a backup as a true freshman, but earned a starting job at right tackle as a sophomore.

It was a job that he never relinquished.

Prince was a First-Team All-Big Ten selection last season as a senior.

He was named a Third-Team honoree as a junior.

Prince finished his Ohio State career with four pairs of Gold Pants.

Isaiah Prince Bio: Isaiah Prince was a three-year starter at right tackle for the Buckeyes who played in every game – 54 – over the past four seasons … he started every game from the beginning of his sophomore season on and finished with 41 starts … he was elected a team captain as a senior … earned first-team all-Big Ten Conference honors from the coaches as a senior when the team was third in the Big Ten in fewest sacks allowed while setting Big Ten records for pass completions, yards and touchdowns … in his three years as a starter, Ohio State ranked second overall in the Big Ten and eighth among Power 5 teams in rushing … was a part of Ohio State teams that won consecutive Big Ten championships in 2017 and 2018 and had bowl game wins over No. 8 Notre Dame (2016 Fiesta Bowl), No. 8 USC (2018 Cotton Bowl) and No. 9 Washington (2019 Rose Bowl) … he also played in four victories over Michigan … Prince was named third-team all-Big Ten Conference as a junior in 2017 … he has the distinction of being the only member of the 2015 class of recruits who played in every game over the past four seasons … is majoring in sport industry … interned during the summer of 2018 with Ohio State’s social media and fan experience department as part of the Bucks-Go-Pro initiative.

  1. Hopefully this kid makes the roster. He has to be able to find a stance he us comfortable with…I could literally predict if we were running or passing with 90% accuracy based on his stance.
