The 2019 Ohio State spring football season is now in the books.
The Buckeyes played the annual Spring Game in front of 61,102 fans in sunny Ohio Stadium on Saturday.
The Gray team won, 35-17. Sophomore transfer quarterback Justin Fields was 4-for-13 for 131 yards and a touchdown for the Gray.
Matthew Baldwin went a combined 20-for-36 for 246 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions while playing for both teams.
Redshirt freshman Jaelen Gill had a game-high seven catches for 95 yards. True freshman Garrett Wilson had 44 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Scarlet.
Redshirt freshman DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste had six tackles and a sack, and junior Jahsen Wint had a pair of interceptions.
Oh, and punter Drue Chrisman popped the question to his girlfriend at halftime.
After the game, head coach Ryan Day and a number of Buckeyes met with the media to recap the game and all of spring practice.
