  1. Which Bowl is better between the Orange and Cotton? In the past 40 years going back before the Playoffs and including the BCS, the Orange Bowl has produced NC’s from Miami (Schnellenberger, Johnson, Erickson), Oklahoma (Switzer, Stoops), Nebraska (Osborne), Florida State (Bowden), USC (Carroll), and even Colorado (McCartney).
    The last Cotton Bowl NC? Was it 1970 with a Darrell Royal NC? I think so. I did not include the Playoffs because those aren’t for the NC and are rotated.
    During my lifetime (70 years) the Orange Bowl has been much more important.
