In this episode of the Buckeye Weekly podcast, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr discuss Ohio State’s first scrimmage of fall camp. Ryan Day had some good things to say about his defense — particularly Baron Browning, and some not great things to say about his offense. The fellas talk about all of it and then answer some listener questions.

The battle at right tackle is neck and neck.
Ryan Day says he will rotate offensive linemen if more than five deserve to play.

Tony thinks this offensive line is going to be good because they talk a lot.
This is a confident group that seems like they know exactly what they’re doing.
Day loved the energy from the defense.
There are a lot of reasons why this defense is playing with such energy.

You get the sense that a lot of people on this defense were asked to do stuff they didn’t like doing.
This is a prideful group of defenders looking to avoid repeating disappointments from last year.
 Listener questions.
How will the offensive plays get called this year.
Tom breaks down how we record this show.
How many 3-and-outs should the defense average this season?
Would Ryan Day ever favor a night game for Michigan.
