The kickoff of the 2019 Ohio State football season is now less than four days away.
Tuesday, OSU head coach Ryan Day, offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson, and co-defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley met with the media to preview the matchup.
A handful of Buckeye players, including junior LB Tuf Borland, senior WR K.J. Hill, senior OT Branden Bowen, and senior DT Robert Landers also spoke about what changed during fall camp, and what lies ahead for the team.
Ohio State will face Florida Atlantic for the first time in team history on Saturday, but the Buckeyes have some familiarity with the Owls’ leadership.
FAU head coach Lane Kiffin was the offensive coordinator for Alabama during Ohio State’s 42-35 win in the 2015 Sugar Bowl.
The stakes on Saturday won’t be quite as high as they were that night in New Orleans, but there’s still a lot on the line as Day looks to get his first team off to a winning start.
