It’s the biggest game of the year so far for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the OSU social media team produced a game trailer to match.
The No. 3 Bucks face off with No. 13 Wisconsin Saturday in what will likely be a rainy Ohio Stadium.
It’s a chance for OSU to make a statement against a team that was considered a legitimate Playoff contender as recently as a week ago.
The program has made a point of focusing just on the game at hand this year, but there’s not much concern that Buckeye players or coaches will be looking past the Badgers.
“There’s been a lot of talk out there. Good, bad, and indifferent. Everyone has something to say,” says senior WR C.J. Saunders, who narrates the video. “But we didn’t come here to talk. And we didn’t come here to negotiate, either.
We came here to hit, run, catch, intercept, score touchdowns, sing Carmen Ohio, and win. We came here to uphold tradition. We came here to leave a legacy.
“We know this place was built on much more than us, and we respect that. But for now, just right now, all we’re focused on is us. This team, this family, this brotherhood. We’ll let the results speak for themselves.
“Whoever wants to take that away from us, tough luck. Our honor defend, we will fight to the end.”
