The No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes are back in action this weekend against Big Ten East opponent Maryland.
No one has had to fear the turtle this season, as the Terrapins have gone off a cliff following a 2-0 start.
Mike Locksley’s team has lost five of its last six games including blowout defeats to Penn State (59-0), Purdue (40-14), Minnesota (52-10), and Michigan (38-7).
Things don’t figure to get much better for the Terps this weekend in Columbus. It’s the first of back-t0-back games against the newest Big Ten members, and the Buckeyes are a 44-point favorite. That’s the most lopsided point spread of the year, even more than the Miami game.
Tuesday, OSU head coach Ryan Day, Passing Game Coordinator Mike Yurcich, Sr. OT Branden Bowen, Sr. DT Jashon Cornell, So. QB Justin Fields and Sr. WR K.J. Hill were expected to speak.
