Ohio State has remained at the top spot in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. This is the second week in a row the Buckeyes have been ranked No. 1, having overtaken LSU following their win over Penn State two weeks ago.
The Buckeyes currently have four wins over ranked opponents, which is one more than LSU has at the moment.
Cincinnati remained in the Top 20 despite a loss at Memphis this past weekend. Those two teams meet again in Memphis this weekend for the AAC Championships. A loss for the Bearcats would likely knock them out of the rankings. A win for UC and a win for the Buckeyes would give Ohio State more ranked wins than LSU heading into the final rankings on Sunday.
Michigan fell just one spot following their 56-27 loss to Ohio State.
Penn State held firm at No. 10 following a win over Rutgers.
Ohio State has two Top 10 wins this season in Wisconsin and Penn State.
Following their loss to Wisconsin on Saturday, Minnesota dropped 10 spots to No. 18.
The Gophers’ drop was even worse than Alabama’s, who went from No. 5 to No. 12 following their loss to Auburn, who is now up four spots to No. 11.
