COLUMBUS — For the second year in a row, the Buckeyes and the Nittany Lions will play in primetime game.
The Big Ten conference announced on Monday that No. 5 Ohio State’s matchup against No. 7 Penn State on Oct. 30 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be aired on ABC.
The Ohio State University football team will debut an all-scarlet uniform for the game and the football program wants the color rush of all-scarlet to extend to the fans and the entire stadium as well. Fans are going to be encouraged to “scarlet the stadium” by layering up and wearing scarlet jerseys, overcoats, sweatshirts, hoodies, sweaters and/or blankets.

Night games are overrated just like PSU has been. Still they will be the first halfway competent team OSU played since the overrated Oregon Ducks came to town so at least there could be a slim chance for a game. Not sure how anybody enjoys the blowouts against 2-4 teams. Anyway PSU never belonged at #7 in the first place and Illinois just beat them so…maybe won’t be much of a game either. We can hope. Come November we’ll get to see some meaningful football. Speaking of overrated, how about that UM? Might be a game this year after they escaped a likely record breaking beatdown last year thanks to the coof. Michigan should have had to forfeit that game due to their inability to field a team.
At least Sean Clifford is back so this blowout won’t be quite as bad unless he gets hurt in the first series like Jack Tuttle. I’ve never seen such a weak field of college football teams across the board in my entire life. There aren’t enough top ten quality teams to fill those spots. Have a nice week.
Very happy we finally get a night game against a good opponent instead of us always being on the road for those–go Bucks!..
yesssss-irrrrrrr!
