Chris Holtmann’s inaugural season as Ohio State’s men’s basketball coach could not have gone much better.
The Buckeyes won 25 games, finished 15-3 in Big Ten play, and made the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
Now comes the hard part.
OSU lost star forward Keita Bates-Diop and guard Jae’Sean Tate, along with guards Andrew Dakich and Kam Williams.
The 2018-19 team will be led by Kaleb Wesson and C.J. Jackson among others, and it features some heralded newcomers, including four-star shooting guard Luther Muhammad and 4-star forward Jaedon Ledee.
You can watch all of Holtmann’s press conference below, as well as check out some photos from the event and some short clips featuring several other Buckeyes.

why is the banner missing the 1999 final four?!
According to Ohio State, all references to the 1999 Final Four team as well as the records from 1999 to 2002 — the seasons for which the Buckeyes were penalized for using an ineligible player — were removed from the school’s media guides.
I really like the job Holtmann did last year and I believe a lot of our returning kids will continue their improvement plus four good frosh.. We may not have a KBD but I think we will have a deeper team and more kids who can score.
Thank you for posting this press conference.
