The Urban Meyer era needs to be done at Ohio State….clearly his inability to get his coaches and his team prepared for games they should win , even poorly coached is beyond his capabilities…this is beyond embarrassing and beyond words…..Just glad it was now than in the playoffs where the whole nation could see what a fraud Ohio State is…..this was so predictable based on how this Defense played all year…..PATHETIC….worst i have ever seen in 40 plus years of Buckeye football…I am ashamed……..been watching this train wreck all year and amazed that a program like this can put a product this horrible and still make the f…… excuses week in and week out….excuses are over.. you lost and you once again got out schemed and out coached…you got beat by inferior players and got DOMINATED by players you never thought of recruiting…UNDERACHIEVERS……as usual….Once again i guess….ROLL TIDE
Urban needs to make some quick coaching changes unless we want to see Ohio States post season. Game in San Antonio.
should have made changes way before now…too late….another wasted season….maybe time for complete change…Urban included…lost my faith in ability to be a coach that can make decisions for the betterment of the program instead of hurting the feelings of his “friends” by the way just saying his friends F<<<ked him over by not being the coaches he thought they were…his fault….gotta go…can we really have this program continually underachieve year after year with top 3 recruiting talent year after year….what a shame
If you didn’t know the situation it would seem like a really bad sitcom…..riddle me this. Greg Studrawa makes 500,000 a year as one of the worst position coaches producing absolute garbage results in the Country…..who Urban just loves and adores. The guy Urban caused to leave Ohio State is making 250,000 a year at the Buckeyes arch rivals blowing gaping holes if defensive fronts for their backs to trot through.
Cincinnati went down today, but sit with just 1 loss, and their defense still looked pretty darned good against equal talent, and didn’t get their asses, lunches, tomorrows promises, and their progenies futures handed to them like Schiano and Bill Davis did on a National stage……….AGAIN.
There’s no amount of super glue, gorilla glue or flex steel you can apply to Schiano, Davis, and Studrawa to fix the damage they represent. The only solution is to throw them out and begin immediately building from scratch. NO MORE exotic stupidity. No more dumbass excuses trying to shelter them…..FIRE their asses immediately. There’s not much chance it could be any worse just picking up a couple talented HS position coaches to improve the wreck those 3 leave in their wake. Their damage has already been done.
Urban Meyer’s “loyalty” to his coaches will be his demise…it almost cost him his job in August. The coaching staff’s refusal to make personnel changes is killing this team…players that continue to commit penalty after penalty should be benched. Players that aren’t making plays need to be benched. How could the D be any worse off by trying the equipment manager at LB?! How could the O-line be any worse off by trying a walk-on punter at LT?!
How anybody who has watched this team all season can be surprised by last night’s result is beyond me…I was expecting it.
Russ, I get it, but, it’s never too late to take out the bags of trash that are stinking up the house. Really good HS and other level position coaches would line up from around the Country if Urban posted openings 5 minutes from now and he just offered them half the pay of what Schiano, Davis, and Studrawa make. We’re talking well over 2 million wasted dollars!
