Dwayne Haskins Hits 50 Passing Touchdowns In A Season

Ohio State football quarterback Dwayne Haskins Record

The Ohio State Buckeyes are well on their way to sending Urban Meyer out a winner.

The Bucks lead the 2019 Rose Bowl, 21-3 over Washington at the half.

The final touchdown of the first half came on a 1-yard pass from Haskins to tight end Rashod Berry with 0:14 left to play in the second quarter.

That gave Haskins an even 50 touchdown passes on the season. That’s eight more than any other quarterback in FBS this season. Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray is second with 42.

Colt Brennan holds the all-time single-season record with 58 touchdown passes in 2006.

Haskins won’t get there, but he already holds both the OSU and Big Ten single-season records for the category.

He would need to finish the Rose Bowl with 420 passing yards or more to crack the 5,000-yard mark for the season.

Haskins had 163 passing yards at halftime.
