The Ohio State football team just added some badly-needed depth in its quarterback room. Chris Chugunov, a graduate transfer from West Virginia, has now officially joined the Buckeyes. He has two years of eligibility left. Chugunov played in eight career games with the Mountaineers, including the final three of the 2017 season. Last season as a redshirt sophomore, Chugunov was called on to start in West Virginia’s final three games, which all turned out to be losses. In the three games — against Texas, at Oklahoma, and then in the bowl game against Utah — Chugunov completed 33 of 74 passes for 455 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
