Trey Sermon rushed for 2,076 yards in his three seasons at Oklahoma, averaging 6.1 yards per carry and scoring 25 total touchdowns. Sermon was also an effective receiver and pass blocker, all of which made him a coveted target once he hit the transfer portal last month. A little over a week before Sermon hit the portal, the Buckeyes suffered a blow at running back when…
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day took part in a conference call with reporters on Wednesday to answer questions about his team and how things are going with the monitoring of players. He also talked about transfer running back Trey Sermon, as well as the upcoming NFL Draft and his thoughts on how some Buckeyes would do. Day also answered questions about recruiting…
Ohio State’s spring game was supposed to be taking place tomorrow, but it was canceled long ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has impacted the entire sports world. Since then, all spring sports at Ohio State and the NCAA have been canceled, and even though the college football season is still five months away, there are mounting concerns that fall sports…
Ohio State returns a starter from last season at quarterback, receiver, left tackle, center, right guard, defensive end, two at linebacker, and a cornerback. They were able to get three practices in before everyone took off for spring break. Soon after, everything changed and eventually all university athletic activities were essentially…

Day’s first class (2019) ranked 14th nationally, but that’s because it was a small class with just 17 signees. The average ranking per player, however, was third-highest in the nation, behind only Alabama and Georgia.

In between there are classes. After, there is often somebody that just wants to go home and sleep.
Last year, work was completed on some new digs at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. A new dining area — with chefs — was installed, a barber shop, some relaxation areas, and several other bells and whistles. And, of course, the weight room was still there. Everything under one roof with the hopes that players would spend as much time at the WHAC as possible.
Like many of you, Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day is working from home these days. With the OSU campus shut down, and the football facilities along with it, Day is running the Ohio State football program from his home office. In speaking with reporters via teleconference on Wednesday, Day admitted that this was the first he had actually gotten to use his home office.
