Army All-American defensive tackle Tommy Togiai committed to Ohio State on Tuesday.
Togiai — the top player in the state of Idaho — is ranked the No. 9 defensive tackle in the 247Sports Composite and is the third blue-chip defensive tackle in OSU’s 2018 recruiting class.
Togiai joins No. 1 defensive tackle Taron Vincent and No. 2 JUCO defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson, who spent his freshman season redshirting at Auburn before transferring to Blinn Community College.
Buckeye head coach Urban Meyer and defensive line coach Larry Johnson made an in-home visit to Togiai on Tuesday to see how things were going. They were hoping they could finally land his verbal commitment, but weren’t sure whether it would happen or not.
So you’ll need to check out their reaction when it does happen.
Tommy has made his decision❤️?❤️? urban said he's never seen coach j move like that before ???
