Atlanta, Georgia (Marist School) safety Kyle Hamilton is one of the fastest-rising prospects in the entire 2019 class. Sunday night, he tweeted out his Top 7.
Thank you to all of the schools that have recruited me throughout this process. These are the schools I will be focusing on. pic.twitter.com/M4NSGOEtrQ

As you can see, Hamilton included Ohio State, along with Duke, Clemson, Northwestern, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Michigan.
Ranked a 3-star prospect and the No. 68 safety in the 247Sports Composite, Hamilton (6-3 188) has also added offers from Florida State, Auburn, LSU, and Stanford in the last few weeks.
Hamilton visited Ohio State unofficially this weekend, which came one day after a visit to Notre Dame. He also visited Georgia and Clemson in the past week as well.
A rangy safety at 6-foot-3, Hamilton was named First-Team All-State after a junior season where he picked off six passes and tallied 60 tackles.
Here is an example of what he is capable of as a centerfielder.

Hamilton’s highlights show a deep safety who covers the kind of ground that Ohio State is looking for. He has fantastic awareness of both the field and the ball, which allows him to make plays when the ball is in the air.
As a run defender, he is a big hitter, and yet not out of control. Expect him to begin a steady rise up the recruiting rankings this spring.
The Buckeyes have offered over a dozen safeties, and Hamilton is the lowest-rated among them (No. 921 overall). Despite that ranking, he may have more potential than anybody else on their list. His combination of size, speed, and athleticism is rare for a defender, and he knows how to put each of those attributes to good use. The potential is very high for Kyle Hamilton at the next level.
Ohio State is still sitting at just two verbal commitments, and both are on the offensive line. The Buckeyes will likely be looking to take a pair of safeties in the 2019 recruiting class. Hamilton would be a welcome addition to that group.
