Top-250 Defensive End Noah Potter Commits To Ohio State

Noah Potter 2018 Spring Game

Noah Potter, a 4-star defensive end from Mentor, Ohio has committed to play his college football for the Buckeyes.

He announced the news via Twitter.

Potter (6-5 250)  is ranked as the 8th-best player in the state and the No. 18 strong side defensive end in the nation.

He is the younger brother of Ohio State basketball player Micah Potter. He’s also high school teammates with Ryan Jacoby, a 4-star offensive lineman who committed to OSU about a month ago.

Noah Potter made numerous visits to Columbus over the past year, including for this year’s Spring Game.

Potter chose the Buckeyes over offers from schools like Alabama, Michigan, Penn State, Georgia, and Notre Dame.

The Buckeyes offered him a scholarship back in October, and based on his tweet at the time, it was a huge deal.

Potter projects as a defensive end at the college level.

  1. Has the motor, needs to get stronger.

  2. This was merely a formality. He’s a tremendous talent and bleeds Scarlet and Gray……….just like his older brother.

WELCOME ABOARD and HOME Noah. Looking forward to watching you in the near future.
