Four-star wideout Zion Puckett (Spalding HS/Griffin, GA) released his Top 10 on Saturday and included the Buckeyes in the mix. Joining Ohio State were Alabama, South Carolina, Auburn, Notre Dame, Duke, Miami, Stanford, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. He also holds offers from Florida State, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan.

He announced his list via Twitter.

Puckett (6-1 190) is ranked the No. 36 wide receiver prospect in the 2019 class and the No. 227 player overall per the 247Sports Composite. He visited South Carolina, Florida, Ohio State, and Alabama this past spring.

As a junior last season, Puckett caught 36 passes for 660 yards and five touchdowns. He is a very strong runner after the catch and has the speed to match.

Puckett wasn’t the only receiver who released his top group on Saturday, as 3-star Indiana receiver Craig Young (6-3 200) did as well.

The Buckeyes were joined by Indiana, Iowa, Purdue, and Michigan State. Young is the No. 96 receiver in the nation and also holds offers from Wisconsin and Iowa State.

He tweeted out his Top 5.

Two weeks ago, Ohio State landed a commitment from 5-star receiver Garrett Wilson. Wilson provided a very good start for the Buckeyes’ 2019 receiving efforts.

Zion Puckett and Craig Young are just two of the latest 2019 receivers to include OSU in their respective cut-down lists.

The Buckeyes are closing in on some receiving targets to join Wilson, including St. Louis prospect Marcus Washington (6-2 193), who is ranked the No. 9 receiver in the class. He is set to announce his decision in August.

Four-star Indianapolis receiver Davis Bell (6-2 185) is the No. 102 player in the nation and is deciding between offers from Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and others. He is the top prospect in the state.

The Buckeyes were also included in the top group for 4-star running back Deondrick Glass (Katy, TX) on Friday. Glass (5-11 190) is the No. 17 tailback in the 2019 class.
