Watch: Buckeye Freshmen Making Plays on the Practice Field

Ohio State football’s official Twitter account has release more clips from Wednesday’s action on the practice field, and a pair of true freshmen have been the focus.

In the first clip below, freshman cornerback Sevyn Banks comes off of his receiver in order to go back and intercept a tipped pass from walk-on quarterback Kory Curtis.

The play shows awareness on Banks’ part to break off and double back for the floating pass. He then turned his attention toward the return and began racing up the sideline.

The second clip showcases freshman H-back Jaelen Gill, who has now been featured in videos from OSU twice this week.

On the play, redshirt sophomore quarterback Tate Martell drops back and finds Gill on a corner route with redshirt sophomore safety Jahsen Wint in coverage.

Gill continues to make his name heard during camp.

The third clip could be considered the rubber match between junior receiver Binjimen Victor and sophomore cornerback Jeff Okudah. If it was the rubber match, Victor won 2-1.

Don’t worry, however, they have matched up many more times than just the three that OSU has released.

If iron sharpens iron, those two are getting each other ready for the coming football season. The previous two matchups between the two players is also posted below for your enjoyment.

If more videos are released today, they will be added below throughout the day.
