“It’s the Buckeyes against the world, men. The Buckeyes against the world. And guess what, Coach Day, that’s the way we like it.”
Those are the words of Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano from a recent Ohio State football practice at the Coffey Road fields.
On Wednesday, the OSU football Twitter account released some more footage of this week’s secluded practices away from the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
In the video below are things we have gotten accustomed to seeing, namely Binjimen Victor, C.J. Saunders, Jaelen Gill, and Tate Martell making plays.
Also seen is Schiano emphasizing that the team has to remain united during a fall camp that could be littered with distractions.
Yesterday was the tenth practice of fall camp for the Buckeyes. Today will be the eleventh of 25 practices before the Oregon State game.
Fall camp is almost over and game week is quickly approaching.
It’s almost here.

Challenges and turbulence if properly motivated can be a powerful force. Watching your head coach, athletic director, and University get raked over the coals openly before all facts are known can be motivating if and when Meyer, and others are exonerated and return. Living in IL, knowing I’m a die hard Buckeye, many have asked about Urban Meyer, what I thought, many believe he is toast and how can I support him and how will OSU do with him not being there for these practices. I share, maybe the picture the media painted is not accurate, and let’s wait and hear what the panel/committee finds. About Urban not being there, the coaches are working on conditioning, plays and fundamentals and when and if Urban returns he will fine tune this, and they now will have an extra attitude and motive. Well said! “It’s us against the world!”
