COLUMBUS — Fourth-year junior receiver K.J. Hill, junior safety Jordan Fuller, and sophomore kicker Blake Haubeil were named Ohio State’s offensive, defensive, and special teams players of the game, respectively, for their performances in Saturday’s Buckeye win over Minnesota.
Hill had a season-high nine receptions for a career high 187 yards and two touchdowns. He is now second on the team with 40 receptions for 551 yards, and his four touchdowns are third on the team.
Joining Hill as offensive Champions for the Buckeyes are quarterback Dwayne Haskins, receivers Terry McLaurin and Parris Campbell, tight end Luke Farrell, and offensive linemen Malcolm Pridgeon and Michael Jordan.
Haskins threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns, giving him back-to-back 400-yard passing games. They were also the second and third such games in Ohio State football history.
Hill and McLaurin are the only players on the team to be named Champions in every game this season.
Jordan Fuller would likely have joined that group had he not missed the season opener due to injury. In every game since, however, he has earned a Champion’s mark.
Fuller led the Buckeyes with 12 tackles on Saturday.
Joining Fuller on defense this week were defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones, linebacker Pete Werner, and cornerbacks Kendall Sheffield and Jeff Okudah.
Sheffield notched his second interception of the season on Saturday.
Jones and Werner were also named Champions last week.
Haubeil made all three of his extra points and all three of his field goal attempts, including a 47-yarder in the third quarter to double Ohio State’s three-point lead. They were Haubeil’s first kick attempts of the season.

We are such a spoiled fan base.
When a safety leads the team with double-digit tackles it says all you need to know about a defense.
Must be same grading curve as calling some of these players “:ELITE”…..we can add these awards to the rest of our “participation trophies” that are stacking up
What a joke. There is no way you can call any offensive lineman as champions and still call this valid. None.
BINGO ^. Impossible to state it any more accurately.
