It’s been more than a week since Purdue Harbor II and we still have a bit of fallout from that game to discuss, including how Ohio State is moving on and (hopefully) improving as the November portion of the schedule looms in the final run-up to the college football postseason. The Boilermakers celebrated their win over the Buckeyes by getting pantsed by Michigan State.
Urban Meyer let everyone know he isn’t going anywhere and that he plans to coach at Ohio State next season. We’ve got some thoughts on that as well as the irresponsible way that was even brought into question and how the OSU beat writers did a good job of following up just so we can close the book on those rumors (for now).
Austin Mack won’t be able to provide Dwayne Haskins with a security blanket anymore and we break down how the Buckeyes will handle the receiver’s loss and who is likely to step up in his absence.
Finally, we preview the Nebraska Cornhuskers and a noon blackout this Saturday, which is dumb but it’s totally happening. We’ve got score predictions as well, and as usual Chip Minnich and I are very closely aligned in what we think will happen.
And that’s our show for this week. Somewhere in all of that I mistake a character on The Deuce for an Ohio State assistant coach for a moment and we pine for the days when the Buckeyes had a Bosa on the field.
We’ll be back next week to discuss the Nebraska game and preview Sparty.
