It was a lot closer than many Buckeye fans expected, but No. 3 Ohio State finally pulled away from Minnesota for a 30-14 win on Saturday.
Quarterback Dwayne Haskins put up his second 400-yard passing performance in seven days, and K.J. Hill had a career day with 9 catches, 187 yards and 2 touchdowns.
However, some familiar issues returned as well. The offensive line struggled to get any push in the running game.
The defense got gashed for more than 7 yards per play, and needed two red zone turnovers and a pair of missed field goals to hold the Gophers to 14 points.
In the end, the Buckeyes improved to 7-0 on the year, heading into their trip to face Purdue.
You can watch Urban Meyer’s postgame press conference, as well as Dwayne Haskins, Terry McLaurin, Pete Werner, K.J. Hill, Alex Grinch, and Kevin Wilson.
