The Ohio State football team was back on the field Friday for their second practice of the 2019 spring season.
It was another opportunity to see the battle for the starting quarterback job develop.
Sophomore Justin Fields and redshirt freshman Matthew Baldwin are considered the front-runners, with grad transfer Chris Chugunov and freshman walk-on Daniel Vanatsky also getting snaps.
After practice, all four quarterbacks along with passing game coordinator Mike Yurcich met with the media.
Topics included how Fields is adjusting to the Buckeyes’ offensive system and Baldwin’s development in his second season at OSU.
