Ohio State will be back in the Horseshoe this Saturday, facing off against in-state opponent Cincinnati.
The Buckeyes won their opening-weekend game, 45-21 against Florida Atlantic, while the Bearcats opened with a 24-14 win over UCLA.
The game against UC should present a much more serious test for the Bucks, as Luke Fickell’s team brings a stout defense and strong power running attack into Ohio Stadium.
There are a lot of questions that may get answered on Saturday, like which OSU offense was the real one: the one that exploded for 28 points in eight minutes against FAU, or the one that only scored in the final 52 minutes.
And is the 2019 Buckeye defense really as good as it looked while holding FAU to negative yardage in the first half last weekend?
Ryan Day shared his thoughts on this week of practice and what he’s expecting on Saturday.
