I want to start this post by apologizing to anyone who went looking for our podcast last week and couldn’t find it. That was my bad. I had a program update that reset my settings and I forgot to re-check them before recording. The end result was that you could hear me just fine but my co-host Chip…not so much. Maybe I need an airline pilot-type checklist in the future so that this doesn’t happen again. Stupid software updates.
Anyway, you didn’t get to hear us talk about Ohio State vs. Miami but it probably sounded a lot like our discussion of the Buckeyes at Nebraska this week. The OSU offense was great. The OSU defense was great. Both of them made the Cornhuskers look not great. Maybe the Huskers aren’t that great but anytime you can go to Lincoln at night and make them look like Rutgers, I think you’re probably doing something right. At any rate, we break down the game and look back to see how we did with our predictions and our picks to click on each side of the ball.
We talked about this week’s players of the game and those who graded out as champions and also discussed the blackout against the Spartans this Saturday night in the Shoe and whether things like that are good or not. Plus, we take a spin around the Big Ten and discuss whether the Western Division is catching up to the East.
Finally, we discuss the Spartans and what fans should look for on Saturday night. This could be the week when Ohio State finally has to face a four-quarter challenge in 2019. We give you our predictions and picks to click as well.
