The-Ozone started covering Ohio State sports back in the fall of 1996, one of the first online outlets to report on the team.
It took a while for this newfangled Interwebs thing to gain enough credibility to merit press credentials, but since that happened, they haven’t been able to get rid of us yet.
In 2002, The-Ozone was credentialed to shoot photos of the Ohio State vs. Michigan game for the first time.
That was a memorable year in Buckeye history, as the second season of the Jim Tressel era ended with a last-second win over the Wolverines en route to a national title.
Since that edition of The Game, we’ve been on the sidelines for 16 more. The Buckeyes have won 14 of those.
Below are links to every photo gallery The-Ozone has produced for Ohio State vs. Michigan games since 2002.
That’s a lot of editions of the greatest rivalry in all of sports, and it’s also a whole lot of photos.
There are a total of 2,822 shots altogether if our math is right, and because of the era which those games were played in, virtually all of them show the Buckeyes beating their hated rivals.
Let’s be honest here: Saturday is still a painfully long time away, and you don’t want to work any more than we do this week.
Take your time, and look around as long as you want. We won’t tell your boss.

Well done, Tom. You are doing a great job of showing how seriously The Game is supposed to be taken.
If I might note, the #1 reason that OSU has done so well over these 16 games is that our coaching staff takes the rivalry far more seriously than our rival’s coaching staff does. That’s just the fact, no matter what other reasons contribute to this reality or how close they may come to this reason. I love it that we prep for these guys 365 days/year. That’s what makes all of this so special.
