The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes head east this weekend to face Rutgers.
This might be one of the biggest mismatches in OSU football history.
The Buckeyes have absolutely rolled over all nine opponents they have faced so far this season.
Rutgers has wins over lowly UMass and Liberty, and a whole lot of lopsided losses in the rest of their games.
The Scarlet Knights lost 35-0 to an Indiana team the Buckeyes beat 51-10.
Maryland beat Rutgers, 48-7 and then lost 73-14 at Ohio State last weekend.
The transitive property is not an exact science in college football, but with margins this big, you’re comfortably within “horseshoes and hand grenades” territory.
The Buckeyes have dominated the series since Rutgers joined the Big Ten, jumping out to a combined lead of 254-7 before a few garbage-time scores by RU allowed them to fire their stadium’s cannon occasionally.
Here’s everything you need to know to watch this weekend’s edition of the Buckeyes and Scarlet Knights.
Kickoff Time
The game kicks off Saturday, November 16 at 3:30 pm Eastern.
TV & Streaming
The game will appear on Big Ten Network.
You can stream it via FoxSports.com or the FoxSportsGo app. Brandon Gaudin, James Laurinaitis, and Elise Menaker are on the call.
Radio
The game will be carried live on the Ohio State Football Radio Network. Find your local Ohio State Football radio station here.
Weather
The forecast for Saturday is calling for a high temperature of 39 and sunny skies.
The wind will be around 10 MPH, and temperatures should fall into the low-to-mid 30s by the end of the game.
You can find an updated weekend forecast for the New Brunswick, NJ area here.
Point Spread
The Buckeyes are a 52.5-point favorite against the Knights. The Over/Under for the game is 61.5.
If you want to combine those numbers, that means Vegas is expecting something in the neighborhood of a 57-5 win for Ohio State.
Tickets
This will likely not come as a major shock, but tickets are extremely available for this weekend’s game.
If you desperately need to purchase seats directly from the school for some deep-seated psychological reason, they have tickets between the 40s available for $175 on their office ticketing website.
If your respect for money outweighs that, great seats are available far cheaper on the secondary market.
Outlets like StubHub can get you in the door for $29, and you can sit on the 50 for prices starting at $50 or so.
As always, those prices will probably drop as game day approaches.
You can find an SHI Stadium seating chart here.
Gates will (probably) open at 2:00 pm, 90 minutes prior to kickoff. But that’s just an assumption since Rutgers hasn’t updated their gameday information webpage since the Liberty game. The phrase you’re looking for is “Consistent levels of excellence.”
SHI Stadium Bag Policy
From the Rutgers website: Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and approximately 12″ x 6″ x 12″, or one-gallon clear plastic bags or similar, and small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, can be taken into athletic venues. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Fans with prohibited bags may rent a locker at the locker truck near the Kids Chorale to store their bags. Read the full bag policy here.

- PLEASE READ UPDATED PARKING INFORMATION HERE.
- Parking lots open 5 hours prior to kickoff.
- Day of game parking is available at the RAC (83 Rockafeller Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854) for $25 and is cash only.

Rutgers are going to get the SHI knocked out of them on Saturday. They are the sewer of the Big Ten. Should have added Yale or Lehigh too, Delaney. Really make the Big Ten strong. Thanks for the extra bye game every year and strength of schedule enhancements in the form of Rutgers and Maryland. Our wins over FAU, Miami, and Cincinnati are all more impressive than a 80-0 beatdown of Rutgers will be.
Provided the Buckeyes play the starters for the first half. Chances are they won’t though.
Buckeyes 84
Rutgers 0
If the Buckeyes only play the starters 1 quarter.
Buckeyes 77
Rutgers 0
If the Buckeyes don’t play their starters more than 1 or 2 series.
Buckeyes 70
Rutgers 0
This game is going to get seriously ugly for Rutgers in a hurry. Maybe JK goes for 70 on the opening series for the Buckeye offense.
