Everybody here correctly picked Ohio State to defeat Florida Atlantic last week, and if you know anything about my predicting abilities, I’m gonna make note of every single one that I get right. Picking bowl games is usually about figuring out which team actually wants to be there, but in this case, that appears to be both teams — and ties no longer exist, so we must choose a winner.

Ohio State has won the last 10 meetings between these two schools, with Minnesota’s last win occurring in 2000, which just happened to take place in Columbus. It also happened to be the year that John Cooper was fired. I’m not saying Urban Meyer’s job is on the line this week, but I’m also not saying it isn’t.
Under Urban Meyer, Ohio State has only covered the spread once against Indiana, and somehow that came last season when they were 20.5-point favorites over the Hoosiers and trailed 21-20 in the third quarter. This week they are 26.5-point favorites, which means there is very little chance the Buckeyes win by more than 24.
