In speaking with Bill Rabinowitz of the Columbus Dispatch on Monday, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day revealed that senior starting safety Jordan Fuller and starting junior left tackle Thayer Munford will miss spring football with undisclosed injuries. Fuller is entering his third season as a starter, so he wasn’t likely to get overloaded…
First, the good news: The Buckeyes will return four players with at least some starting experience. Thayer Munford was solid as the starting left tackle all year. If he returns healthy from an injury that kept him out of the Rose Bowl, he should be a good building block for the line.
The Ohio State offensive line just got some bad news – starting left tackle Thayer Munford will have to sit out the 2019 Rose Bowl. Munford started all 13 games for the Buckeyes this season, protecting Dwayne Haskins’ blind side. But he has also been battling nagging injuries all fall.
The Ohio State offensive line may be missing two starters for the 2019 Rose Bowl. Thayer Munford, the Buckeyes’ starting left tackle, did not participate in Thursday’s practice.
Here we are. THE GAME. Everything has been leading up to this moment, and now Ohio State will face “That Team Up North” — the Michigan Wolverines, to determine the 2018 winner of the Big Ten’s East Division. Not that I remember,” said right tackle Isaiah Prince. “We got back to old Buckeye football. Just run at them and show them that we are strong,” said running back J.K. Dobbins, who finished with 163 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground…
The struggles of the Ohio State rushing attack this fall have been well-documented. So has the role that the Buckeyes’ offensive line has played in those tough performances. The OSU coaching staff has tried to downplay their concerns over the past month or so, pointing out that the increase use of run-pass option plays may…
Earlier in the week, Ohio State announced the departure of junior defensive end Nick Bosa, who has chosen to focus on his rehabilitation in preparation for the 2019 NFL Draft. The Buckeyes have been without Bosa since the second half of the TCU game, so they have grown accustomed to his absence. Last week, that absence…
Wins are great, but man is this year’s undefeated Ohio State team winning in ways that are making the Buckeye fan base want to rampage. With a 7-0 team after a 30-14 win over Minnesota, all the discussions seem to be about the poor running game, the broken defense, and the lack of any kind of ideas on the coaching staff’s part…
