Champions: Price, Borland, Arnette Named OSU Players of Game vs MSU

Ohio State has announced the Players of the Game following Saturday’s impressive 48-3 victory over Michigan State.

In his school-record 51st consecutive start, senior center Billy Price earned offensive player of the game for his efforts vs. the Spartans. Price was at the forefront of a rushing attack that put more yards on Mark Dantonio’s Michigan State defense than any other before it.

Defensive players of the game went to redshirt freshman Tuf Borland and redshirt sophomore cornerback Damon Arnette. Borland led the team with 11 tackles, and prior to leaving with a thigh bruise, Arnette had an interception and fumble recovery.

The special teams player of the game was senior safety Erick Smith. Combined with his time on defense and special teams, Smith finished with an impressive seven tackles.

Offensive champions – Billy Price, Johnnie Dixon, Parris Campbell, K.J. Hill, Terry McLaurin, Austin Mack, J.K. Dobbins, Mike Weber, Jamarco Jones, Michael Jordan, Isaiah Prince, Demetrius Knox, Marcus Baugh and Rashod Berry.

Defensive champions – Tuf Borland, Damon Arnette, Nick Bosa, Sam Hubbard, Tyquan Lewis, Jalyn Holmes, Chase Young, Chris Worley, Malik Harrison, Denzel Ward, Kendall Sheffield and Damon Webb.
