Fresno, California (San Joaquin Memorial) wide receiver Jalen McMillan announced his Top 10 on Saturday and included a wide range of major suitors. Ohio State was one of the 10, along with Notre Dame, Georgia, Florida, Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, USC, Alabama, and LSU. The Buckeyes offered just two days ago.

McMillan (6-2 181) is a 4-star prospect, ranked the No. 15 receiver in the 2020 class per the 247Sports Composite and the No. 71 player overall.
As a junior, McMillan caught 73 passes for 1,401 yards and 19 touchdowns. Over three years of high school football, McMillan has tallied 171 receptions for 3,590 yards and 42 touchdowns.
Eleven months ago, McMillan ran a 4.53 with a 4.21 shuttle at The Opening Regional in San Francisco.
McMillan is a smooth receiver with speed. He catches the ball well in traffic, but rarely has to deal with traffic due to his ability to pull away from defenders. He is also a physical blocker who is only going to get stronger and more well-equipped in the future.
So far, only three Crystal Ball projections have been made, with two going to Notre Dame and one to Oregon.
The Buckeyes currently have two receivers committed in the 2020 class. Gee Scott Jr. committed on Christmas Day and is rated the No. 72 player in the nation — one spot behind McMillan in both positional and overall rankings.
Rockwall, Texas receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba committed in November. He is ranked the No. 46 receiver and the No. 249 player overall.
Despite the commitments, that hasn’t stopped Ohio State from recruiting the nation’s best receivers, and it hasn’t stopped those receivers from putting Ohio State among their top schools.
Just a few weeks ago, Johnny Wilson — the nation’s No. 2 receiver — put Ohio State in his Top 5. Five-star DC receiver Rakim Jarrett continues to be interested in Ohio State. Julian Fleming — the nation’s top receiver — once again included the Buckeyes in his latest cut down today.
Frequent OSU pipeline St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale is also the home to 5-star receiver Marcus Rosemy who is very interested in the Buckeyes. He is the No. 4 receiver in the 247Sports Composite.
It is clear that Ohio State’s passing game and receivers coach Brian Hartline have gotten into the ear of the nation’s best receivers.
