The Ohio State football team will play its biggest game of the year so far this weekend against Penn State.
The Buckeyes are a 19-point favorite against the Nittany Lions, a massive number in a series that has been decided by a total of five points in the last three meetings.
The game will serve as a de facto play-in game for the Big Ten Championship Game. If the Buckeyes win, they’re officially headed to Indianapolis. If PSU wins, they would only have to beat lowly Rutgers next weekend to clinch their spot in the title game.
Thursday, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day met with the media to deliver his final thoughts on the game.
His weekly “lightning round” press conference touched on the return of Chase Young, how the Buckeyes were preparing given the uncertainty surrounding a couple Penn State offensive standouts, and more.
