Statistical Projection: Ohio State vs. Maryland
Let me just say that Mountain Time is pretty excellent for old timers like myself when it comes to night football games. They wrap up right around my senior citizen bedtime and that makes me happy. On the other hand, when you’re meeting a good friend in Colorado and have a few local beverages the night before, a noon game (now all of the sudden a 10 am kickoff) makes for a rough showing.

Players of the Game, Champions Named Following 38-7 Win Over Wisconsin
The Ohio State coaches took a day off following the Buckeyes’ 38-7 win over Wisconsin, so their film grading sessions were a day later than normal this year. To no one’s surprise, however, junior running back JK Dobbins and junior defensive end Chase Young were named the Offense and Defense Players of the Game, respectively.

Buckeye SloopCast: S5E21 — Deuces
In this episode of the Buckeye SloopCast, Jared and Kyle recap yet another Buckeye blowout. This time they relive Ohio State’s 38-7 win over the Wisconsin Badgers. They spend quite a bit of time talking about JK Dobbins and Chase Young, as you might expect. The fellas discuss Ohio State’s defense as a whole and verbally gaze in wonderment at the things they are seeing.

Buckeye Leaves and Peeves from Ohio State’s 38-7 Win Over Wisconsin
There is good and bad in every game. Some games have more good than bad, and some games have more bad than good. And some games are just a battle of wills between the Buckeyes and Mother Nature, and Mother Nature has taken the L. This feature is about acknowledging both the bad and good, or whichever stood out to us most.

The Grumpy Old Buckeye: Ohio State vs. Wisconsin
The Buckeyes and Badgers met in what would have been a much bigger game if not for the Badgers stubbing their toes in Champaign last weekend. Wisconsin still presented the most difficult test to date for the Buckeyes and all Ohio State did was win by 31 points on a day with weather that made passing difficult. It’s been a difficult season to…

Buckeyes Reigned and Poured It On In 38-7 Blowout of Badgers
COLUMBUS — It was billed as a battle between the Big Ten’s top two running backs, but when the puddles finally settled from an all-day rain, it was Buckeye junior JK Dobbins who stood tallest. Dobbins rushed for 163 yards on 20 carries with a pair of touchdowns in #3 Ohio State’s 38-7 win over the #13 Wisconsin Badgers (6-2, 3-2).

Statistical Projection: Ohio State vs. Wisconsin
And like that, the Buckeye victory train keeps on rolling. Even with their big brains, the Wildcats of Northwestern had no answers for Ohio State last Saturday Friday night. The Buckeyes scored more and gave up less than I projected, making me feel like a Negative Nelly for yet another week, despite picking them to win by nearly five touchdowns.

Statistical Projection: Ohio State at Northwestern
Back when I was younger and far less wise, I predicted that Justin Fields would throw the ball over 30 times in a single contest. It seemed like an astute projection, based on observation of the perceived weakness of the opponent’s defense. As it turns out, the Buckeyes could not have cared less how good Michigan State’s run defense was and proceeded…
