I don’t like to talk about how accurate I am when I make predictions, but I don’t really have a lot of choice. I really can’t talk about my predictions without talking about how often I get them correct. I would love to talk about the ones that I get wrong, but it would be a very short conversation. Despite this, I remain very humble.
I am just one person. One human male. Nothing to write home about. When it comes to predictions, however, I am one of the best in the world that I am aware of. And plenty of people write home about me. Kids who are off to college whose only means of contact with a parent is through the U.S. Mail frequently write their loved…
When you become a professional predictor like me, you don’t really focus on the impact that you can have on people’s lives. All you’re thinking about is getting your predictions correct. When I make my five weekly predictions, I’m not thinking about the kid that I am inspiring who will go on to become a doctor or a congressman…
When I write my predictions for each game, I don’t just write my predictions. I think about them. I visualize every possible possibility, which is like possibilities squared. So you’ll have to forgive me if through all of that data I might miss a prediction or two. Imagine listening to a full symphony orchestra and being responsible…
The No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners and the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes take to the field Saturday night in the week’s only matchup between Top 5 teams. Oklahoma is looking for revenge for a contest that did not go well for them a year ago. I, however, will not be looking for revenge as I assume my predictions last year went perfectly.
I’m sitting here one day away from Ohio State’s kickoff and I just realized that I haven’t made any season predictions for the Buckeyes, or if I have, I have no recollection of it. I don’t want to start a dangerous precedent of not making season predictions because how else are you going to know how brilliant or stupid I am?
